I wanted to challenge myself to create a "remixes" album in a very nontraditional way. I've always wanted to work with Talib Kweli and Mos Def, so this is a bit of an homage, if not a demo. Written and recorded in 36 hours over three days, REDEFINITION is a set of entirely new musical compositions built around their a cappella tracks. I played and created every sound you hear with real instruments.
